Your employer must provide private medical insurance for the whole period of employment, and give you a summary of the policy in a language you understand.
If the insurer refuses to fund treatment, the decision can be appealed. An appeal sometimes has to be filed within 21 days, so act quickly.
An injury that happens at work is handled through National Insurance, not only through the private policy.
