A worker who has not yet completed 51 months in Israel can usually start a new permanent job, subject to their status and lawful registration.
A worker who has been in Israel between 51 and 63 months usually cannot start a new permanent placement, but may work as a temporary replacement, subject to the conditions and to registration through an agency.
After 63 months a new job cannot be started, except in approved special cases — continuing with an existing employer, or under a special humanitarian approval.
