An employer may deduct only amounts permitted by law — for instance a share of the medical insurance, accommodation and related costs.
A deduction must reflect a real expense. As a rule, the total permitted deductions for insurance, accommodation, related costs and agreed debts may not exceed 25% of the monthly wage.
Payments or levies that the law places on the employer may not be deducted from the worker.
